Canon has announced the Power Zoom Adapter “PZ-E2/E2B” for the “RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z” lens, as well as the Speedlite Transmitter “ST-E3-RT (Ver.3)”. The release date is March 29, 2024. The retail price is ¥170,500 (tax included) for the “PZ-E2” and ¥220,000 (tax included) for the “PZ-E2B”.
The Power Zoom Adapter “PZ-E2/E2B” is purpose-built for the RF lens “RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z”, which was released on December 8, 2023. When paired with the lens, it enables motorized zoom operation. The “PZ-E2B” variant is equipped with a 20-pin terminal, allowing operation from an external controller.

Additionally, the Speedlite Transmitter “ST-E3-RT (Ver.3)” is a device designed to control Speedlites remotely from the camera. It features the same selection dial as the “Speedlite 600EX II-RT” for improved operability, and the remote release terminal has been discontinued.
