COSINA Co., Ltd. will launch three versions of the Voigtländer interchangeable lens, the COLOR-SKOPAR 28mm F2.8 Aspherical, in August 2023.

Paying homage to the era when owning a camera was an aspiration, the lens features a full-metal exterior and an optical design of 6 elements in 7 groups, incorporating double-sided aspherical elements. This wide-angle lens for rangefinder cameras emphasizes nimble handling. While delivering optical performance equivalent to the ULTRON Vintage Line 28mm F2 Aspherical, it achieves a more compact form factor by adopting a lower maximum aperture.
The lineup consists of six variations, differentiated by mount, barrel styling, and color options. Common specifications include a lens construction of 5 groups and 8 elements, a 10-blade aperture diaphragm, and a dedicated lens hood and hood cap included as standard.

Features a VM mount compatible with Leica M. Utilizes a rotating helicoid mechanism reminiscent of the screw mount era, with a nostalgic exterior design. The barrel is crafted from brass. The suggested retail price is 89,100 yen (tax included) for the black paint version and 85,800 yen (tax included) for the silver version.

The minimum focusing distance is 0.7m (rangefinder-coupled up to 0.7m). Filter diameter is 34mm. Dimensions are approximately φ52×23.5mm. Weight is 143g. Equipped with an infinity lock. 

This is the Type I version adapted for Leica screw mount compatibility. The suggested retail price is 89,100 yen (tax included) for the black paint version and 85,800 yen (tax included) for the silver version.

The minimum focusing distance is 0.7m (rangefinder-coupled up to 0.7m). Filter diameter is 34mm. Dimensions are approximately φ47×22.5mm. Weight is 122g. Equipped with an infinity lock.

This version features a straight helicoid mechanism and a modern barrel design. The exterior is made of aluminum for reduced weight. The suggested retail price is 93,500 yen (tax included) for both black and silver versions.

The minimum focusing distance is 0.5m (rangefinder-coupled up to 0.7m). Filter diameter is 39mm. Dimensions are approximately φ51×23.5mm. Weight is 106g.
