photo poster project is a photography poster exhibition held by cizucu in cities around the world. To take part, all you have to do is choose a city and date.
We call it ppp, but it’s more than just a photography exhibition. It’s a welcoming community where anyone can share their story, as well as a chance to connect with creators from around the world in person.
This time, we spoke with m.s about taking part in photo poster project.

I started taking railway photos as a hobby when I was 20, and I’m still doing it now as I approach 60. These days, I mainly photograph streetcars and planes, and I enjoy sharing my photos on Instagram.
I hadn’t heard of ppp until a member of the team sent me a message. What they told me caught my interest, so I decided to take part.
The biggest draw was that all the exhibition preparation would be handled for me. Above all, though, I loved the idea of sharing the experience with fellow photography enthusiasts.
The atmosphere was wonderful, and I quickly felt at ease with the other exhibitors even though we’d only just met. I’m quite shy, so that had been my biggest concern, but those worries disappeared while we were getting ready, before the exhibition had even begun. That’s how warm and welcoming it felt.

Taking part gave me fresh inspiration and made me want to keep going. It also made me even more eager to show my favorite photos to other people who share the same interest.
I’ve been photographing Hiroshima Electric Railway for about six years, and this is one of my absolute favorites.
I’d been shooting since the morning that day, then spent about an hour at one of my favorite spots around sunset. This was the last streetcar I photographed as the sun went down and I was running out of time before I had to head home. The combination of the veteran streetcar appearing in the soft red glow and the office worker on his way home created a mood that felt just right.
You really have nothing to lose by taking part. If, like me, you usually only share your photos on social media, it’s a genuinely inspiring experience and gives you fresh motivation to keep going.
I’d definitely encourage you to try it at least once. I’m sure you’ll be won over by what makes it so special.
