The Studio Display XDR debuts as the new flagship, succeeding the previous 32-inch 6K Pro Display XDR. It features a 27-inch 5K Retina XDR panel with advanced mini-LED backlighting, offering 2,304 local dimming zones and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. With a peak HDR brightness of 2000 nits (and 1000 nits for SDR), highlights leap off the screen with vibrancy, blacks are deep and rich, and haloing is virtually eliminated.

For creators who demand color fidelity, the Studio Display XDR supports both P3 and Adobe RGB wide color gamuts in a single default preset. This eliminates friction when switching workflows between print, design, and video. Covering over 80% of Rec. 2020, it stands as a robust reference tool for contemporary HDR color grading.

Additionally, a 120Hz refresh rate with Adaptive Sync (variable from 47Hz to 120Hz) elevates the visual experience. Motion is rendered with fluid smoothness, reducing eye fatigue during extended editing sessions and delivering the high responsiveness required for advanced 3D animation and film production.
Seamless Connectivity and Collaboration
Equipped with Thunderbolt 5 ports, the Studio Display XDR achieves transfer speeds up to 120Gb/s. It supports up to 140W of power delivery—enough for rapid charging of a 16-inch MacBook Pro. The standard Studio Display also features Thunderbolt 5 and enhanced audio, retaining the 27-inch 5K panel with 600 nits brightness.
Both models are outfitted with a 12MP Center Stage camera supporting Desk View for overhead shots, a studio-quality three-microphone array, and a six-speaker system with spatial audio.
