Threads, a text-centric social media platform provided by Meta, is a space where countless forms of expression are posted daily from across the globe.
‘find new pieces’ is a curatorial initiative that discovers exceptional works from the vast array of submissions on Threads and shares their appeal through this magazine. Each edition sets a theme, gathering works from around the world that align with it, allowing us to encounter emerging talents (new pieces) yet unseen.
This time, from among countless submissions from around the world, we are introducing 12 works.
Let us now explore these remarkable artworks, each imbued with unique perspectives and sensibilities.
'love'
There are innumerable forms of love in the world,
and surely, many emotions that cannot be named.
Even so, encounters and feelings are always fleeting.
The moment when gazes meet, the subtle closeness of touch,
unspoken thoughts.
The presence that is felt without words,
the rhythm of breathing shared in the same moment.
What kind of 'form of love' have you captured?
Show us the unique 'love' that exists only between you and someone (or something) else in the world.

To Heal and To Hold
This is the journey of accompanying my mother through her fight against cancer, and a path that led to the healing of our entire family.

A photograph where overlapping smiles through a screen linger in the heart. In that space, distance and time are irrelevant. Choosing to keep meeting, even when you cannot be together, is a gentle ingenuity and kindness that quietly supports daily life. Perhaps love is most vividly defined in the moments when we cannot be by each other's side.

Fingertips gently touch—not gripping tightly, nor seeking reassurance, but a quiet connection. In that subtle contact, there is a certainty that they will never part. A closeness that requires neither words nor force. It is a relationship built over time, underpinned by unwavering trust. Perhaps love is not about holding on, but about being able to believe, without doubt, that you are already connected.

The time spent gazing at the same scenery, through the same frame. Before the shutter is pressed, there is already a shared feeling of 'how beautiful.' While the photograph may capture the sunset, what truly remains is the memory and warmth of seeing it side by side. Perhaps love is born as an experience, even before it is recorded.

A single heart drawn on cracked glass. The lines are slightly distorted, somewhat rugged, yet they appear honest. That mark, layered over the scar, feels like an impulse to leave a trace of feeling even after something has broken. Love does not always appear in perfect places. It is something that is drawn even within the fractures of reality. Those traces themselves are what give it certainty.

The color of the sky that never fully sets and the city’s outline just beginning to glow. At that boundary, two figures gently lean on each other. Even without conversation, simply sharing the view is enough. There is no need for talk of the future or memories of the past—just watching the same twilight together feels like the very embodiment of love.

Two birds walking side by side, unwavering between strong light and shadow. There are no words or promises, but the choice to move in the same direction already tells the story of their relationship. Not protecting, not following—just being beside each other. That harmony itself is the love that carries us through each day, as this image quietly conveys.

In the midst of the crowd’s bustle, there is a moment when the world suddenly quiets. Arms embracing tightly, warmth shared. The gaze exchanged within speaks more than words. A hug where protection and surrender coexist. Even while carrying wounds and the past, the very act of saying 'it's okay to be here' feels like love itself.

A silhouette of happiness outlined by the evening light. A small hand reaching quietly for a bell from the arms that hold it aloft. More important than whether it can reach is the act of reaching out. The presence that supports that back. In this moment, where protection and challenge are both allowed, love quietly resonates as a force moving toward the future.

Two chairs lined up as if they are in love. The way they are positioned feels intimate. Within the temporary boundary drawn by fabric, they spend time together, aware of each other. Even without anyone sitting, the relationship remains intact. Love does not always manifest in words or actions. Sometimes, it quietly lingers as a trace of choosing to be side by side. This arrangement seems to speak of that.

Two people walking in step along a rain-soaked alley. An adult and a child, different in size and eye level, yet the distance between them is natural and effortless. Even without words, their concern for each other is evident from their backs. Protecting, walking together, looking in the same direction—love quietly grows as a choice in everyday life, as this photograph gently teaches us.

A shadow cast on the grass gently reaches out. Even though neither face nor expression is visible, there is a palpable warmth. Standing side by side, bathed in the same light, their relationship is conveyed through proximity alone. Love may not have a form, sometimes appearing only as a shadow. This work gently preserves that quiet connection with natural light.

A single path stretching across a tranquil water surface. The two figures walking at the same pace ahead speak volumes. Even without words or exchanged glances, simply being beside each other becomes a reliable support. Distant cities and mountain ranges become the backdrop enveloping them. This work captures a form of love that is not dramatic, but certainly enduring. It is the very act of continuing to choose each other.
In Closing
What did you think?
Even when the subject is 'love,' its appearance can change entirely depending on the distance and timing of the encounter.
The works submitted this time conveyed not only tenderness and happiness, but also hesitation, tension, missed connections, and quiet trust—each photographer’s unique experience of 'time with love' came through clearly.
Discovering emerging talents (new pieces)—that is precisely the role we hope to fulfill through this project, and we hope your creative expression will reach even more hearts.
Look forward to our next theme.
