My name is okutake_hiroki.
I started taking product photos for work, and it eventually became a hobby. Now, I enjoy capturing landscapes and family moments. I particularly focus on expressing the warmth and coolness of 'light' and 'color' in my photography.
What inspired you to participate?
I was invited by a staff member from cizucu, which became the reason for my participation.
In the past, friends and acquaintances often asked, 'Why not hold a solo exhibition?' However, due to cost and scheduling issues, I couldn't make it happen.
Knowing that the preparation and production would be handled by the cizucu staff lowered the barrier for me, and I felt encouraged to take the first step.
How was your experience participating?
It was my first time participating, and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with various creators. It was particularly inspiring to see how everyone's 'perspectives' and 'approaches' were so unique.
I also learned a lot about techniques such as 'angles' and 'retouching' from the diverse works, which was very educational.
Why did you choose that particular photo?
I often take landscape photos, and I especially love capturing 'magic hour,' which is why I chose this photo.
This picture was taken on New Year's Day, during the 'crescent moon' phase. It felt like a good omen for the start of the year.

It feels like a place where you can take the first step without overthinking it.
I still feel that participating in 'solo exhibitions' or 'art shows' is a high hurdle.
