I'm Awin, a photographer based in Wakayama, Kansai.

I wanted to give tangible form to the 'trajectory' of my photographic activities in 2025, which is why I decided to participate.

It really boosted my motivation.
Connecting and expanding—there are infinite possibilities!

Seeing my photograph printed in large A2 format and exhibited as an artwork was truly exciting, and the fact that the exhibition is held nationwide makes it appealing, as it allows you to connect with creators from different regions.
Participating in the photo poster project led me to new discoveries in photographic expression and broadened my perspective.

I selected my exhibition work with the theme of 'Beginning.'

This is the photograph I took on the day I decided to start photography. It holds memories of waiting for the New Year's sunrise, trembling with anticipation, with my late father's camera. This image is straight out of the camera, with no retouching.
Muttering the little knowledge I had gleaned from books, I pressed the shutter and captured this shot. It reminds me of the moment I was completely absorbed in photography.

With the intention of 'never forgetting my initial resolve,' I felt this work was the perfect fit for the 'Beginning' exhibition of the photo poster project and chose it accordingly.
