The , hosted by cizucu, is held worldwide. By simply submitting your photos to cizucu, you can participate in the photo poster exhibition and meet new photographer friends you’ve never encountered before.
This time, we spoke with creator shudai, who participated in the .

Please introduce yourself!
I’m shudai, a quirky person who loves blurry photos taken on street corners!
After quitting my job, I’ve been searching for what I can do while collecting “good vibes” from everyday life. I quietly capture fleeting moments in photos to preserve their lingering impressions.
What motivated you to participate?
This was my first time participating in a photo exhibition, but I had known about the for a while and had always been curious about it.
However, I lacked confidence in my photography and convinced myself that it was a world unrelated to me.
Then, the team at cizucu reached out to me after seeing my submissions.
It felt as if my photos were being acknowledged... Considering my current situation, I thought I had to go for it, so I decided to participate.

How was your experience participating?
It was my first time participating in a photo exhibition, and I had only just started posting photos on social media, so I was incredibly nervous until I arrived at the venue. However, other participants quickly approached me, and I was moved to have my first opportunity to talk about photography.
Sharing thoughts and feelings that I usually couldn’t express felt like a fresh breeze blowing through me. Both the staff and participants conveyed their enthusiasm for creating a fun and meaningful time, and by the end, I think my eyes were sparkling with excitement (laughs)!
It was truly a wonderful space.
Why did you choose that particular photo?
When I heard that the theme was “moment,” I instinctively felt that this photo was the one.
The word “moment” carries a sense of melancholy, but that’s precisely why capturing it in a photo brings an inexplicable sense of fulfillment.

This photo was taken during a trip with my best friend after I had quit my job and was feeling emotionally drained. I was filled with gratitude for my friend, who prepared and supported everything, but also struggled with feelings of inferiority and loneliness.
I wanted to preserve the emotional turbulence, atmosphere, and lingering impressions of that time, which is why I chose it as the perfect representation of the theme “moment.”
A message for those considering joining the photo poster project
I tend to overthink things and hesitate to take action, but I believe it’s best to participate without overthinking!
As long as you love photography, that feeling will surely come across.
Seeing my photo displayed as an A2-sized poster made me feel like it was truly a “work of art.”
Even if you can’t fully articulate your thoughts behind the photo, having the passion is enough.
I participated simply by collecting “good vibes” from everyday life, so I encourage you to take a step forward and join!
