The , hosted by cizucu, is held worldwide. By simply submitting your photos to cizucu, you can participate in the photo poster exhibition and connect with fellow photographers you’ve never met before.
This time, we spoke with misa, a creator who participated in the .

Please introduce yourself!
Nice to meet you. My name is misa.
I became interested in photography when I saw a photo taken by a colleague displayed in a shop. I was amazed and thought, “How can someone capture such a beautiful moment?”
I often take snapshots in parks near my home or capture moments that move me during my travels.
What made you decide to participate?
Although I’ve participated in group photo exhibitions before, I usually just admire beautiful photos on Instagram without knowing much about their background.
With the , I thought it would be fun to talk directly with photographers about their photos and exchange information, so I decided to join.

How was your experience participating?
Seeing my photo beautifully displayed as a poster at the venue made the experience feel real, and I was thrilled.
I enjoyed talking with the creators I met about the kinds of photos they usually take, their recommended photography spots, and more. It was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
There was also a gallery talk where we could give a brief explanation about our photos, and receiving feedback from the staff was very encouraging.
Why did you choose that particular photo?
When thinking about something that represents the venue, I thought a photo featuring Mount Fuji would be fitting. That’s why I chose this photo, which includes cherry blossoms, Mount Fuji, and pigeons.

I find pigeons adorable just by being there, so I’ve grown fond of them recently. The softness of the colors is also a highlight.
The moment when the pigeons lined up in a row just before taking flight perfectly matched the theme of ‘a moment.’
For those considering joining the photo poster project
Joining the is easier than you might think, so I highly recommend it to those who are hesitant, thinking they’re just beginners.
All you need to do is submit your photos to cizucu and apply, and your work will be beautifully displayed at the venue on the day of the event.
Since it’s held in various locations across the country, I believe connecting with creators in different places will broaden your horizons!
