Threads, the text-centric social media platform provided by Meta, is a space where countless forms of expression are posted daily from across the globe.

‘find new pieces’ is a discovery project that seeks out outstanding works from among the multitude of submissions on Threads, delivering their allure through our magazine. Each edition sets a theme and gathers works from around the world that resonate with it, offering encounters with yet-unknown talents (new pieces).

This time, from over 1,000 submissions received from around the world, we are introducing 52 works.
Let us now explore these remarkable artworks, each imbued with unique perspectives and sensibilities.

On July 12, 2025, I went to Expo ’70 Commemorative Park to photograph the Blue Impulse rehearsal, but failed to secure a good spot. I scouted locations and gathered information. On the 13th, the day of the main event, I waited from morning in the blazing heat and clear skies to shoot. The few seconds I captured the Tower of the Sun and Blue Impulse together became one of my favorite photos of the year.
