When taking photos in backlight conditions, the subject often appears shadowed, making it difficult to capture clear images. This is especially true for group photos, where faces can become hard to see. As a result, many photographers avoid shooting in backlight.
However, if you understand how to work with shadows, backlighting can become a powerful tool for creative expression, greatly expanding your artistic range.
During the hashtag feature period from Thursday, December 4, 2025, to Wednesday, December 10, 2025, we will select several photos tagged with 〈#Backlight〉 and feature them in cizucu’s magazine. We encourage everyone to participate and share their work!
