cizucu has launched a new project, 'ppp(pro)', as a spin-off of the . This initiative, packed with 'p's, is like the upgraded version of the standard ppp, akin to the iPhone Pro. It is designed primarily for creators aiming to enhance their skills, offering them the opportunity to receive constructive feedback from on-site coaches.
What is ppp(pro)?
First and foremost, it’s important to note that ppp(pro) is built upon the same three core principles as 'ppp standard', which are unified across all ppp projects worldwide: 'Enjoy Differences', 'Listen Closely', and 'Express Love'. As always, anyone can join regardless of their photography experience or equipment.
While the usual ppp emphasizes 'communication', ppp(pro) focuses on 'skill development'. This project is designed to support photography enthusiasts who feel the desire to improve their skills and take their first step toward growth.
Exclusive 'Open Coaching' in ppp(pro)
In the standard ppp, participants enjoy a wonderful time called 'Gallery Talk', where they share the stories behind their works with each other. In contrast, ppp(pro) replaces this with a dedicated 'Open Coaching' session aimed at skill improvement.
During 'Open Coaching', participants first articulate the technical intentions and details of their photos and present them within one minute. Coaches then provide (kind!) coaching, offering fair advice on how to further enhance the photos. Participants can also include specific questions or areas where they seek advice when submitting their works.
As the name suggests, 'Open Coaching' is conducted openly for everyone. Listening to feedback on others' works can also significantly contribute to your skill development.
No Cropping and Horizontal Photos Allowed in ppp(pro)
In ppp(pro), submitted works are framed, so they are not automatically cropped. Additionally, information such as QR codes is placed outside the photo, allowing participants to receive feedback on their ideal photos.
Moreover, horizontal photos are also accepted in ppp(pro). However, please note that even horizontal photos will be printed on A2 paper in a vertical orientation.
