The , organized by cizucu since the end of last year, allows participants to join a photo poster exhibition simply by submitting their photos to cizucu. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow photographers you haven’t encountered before.
This time, we interviewed Aki, a creator who participated in the .
Please introduce yourself!
I’m Aki, a Fujifilm user. I started taking photography seriously about four years ago. I enjoy capturing anything that excites me while shooting.

What inspired you to participate?
A senior photographer I admire participated in the , and seeing the exhibition in person inspired me to join. I was also interested in seeing other people’s photos and connecting with others, which motivated me to participate.
How was your experience participating?
I was nervous, wondering, “Who will come? Will I be able to talk to them easily? How will my work turn out?” But once I participated, everyone was friendly and approachable. I received honest feedback like, “I love this part of your photo!” The time flew by, and I felt it was a fulfilling experience.

Why did you choose this particular photo?
I love this temple, which always comes up with creative ways to entertain visitors, like wind chimes in summer and carp streamers in spring. I felt it matched the theme of “favorite,” so I chose it for this project.

For those considering joining the photo poster project
It’s natural to feel uncertain or have questions when participating for the first time, but I think it’s important to take the leap and try. You’ll learn a lot from the experience, and since it’s a gathering of people who love photography, conversations naturally become lively.

I also encourage those who haven’t printed their photos before to join. Seeing your photos come to life like this is truly moving!
