Please Introduce Yourself!

My name is Koki Hayashi. I mainly photograph landscapes in Hokkaido.
From nature, wildlife, plants, cityscapes, skies, night views, to ruins and caves at times... I walk through the vast land of Hokkaido, observing its changing seasons, the flow of time, its tranquility, and its wildness, capturing it all through my lens.

What Motivated You to Participate?

Just as I was looking for a venue to exhibit my photos, I came across the . It felt like fate, so I decided to participate.

How Was Your Experience Participating?

A wide variety of works, unrestricted by genre or equipment, came together, and the emotions embedded in each piece were clearly conveyed.
Engaging in conversations with many people at the venue allowed me to share those emotions, which was incredibly inspiring.

Why Did You Choose That Particular Photo?

The theme this time was 'favorite,' and for me, the photo that encapsulated my 'favorite' was clear from the start. I had no hesitation in choosing it. I hoped that those who viewed it could resonate with it, even just a little, which is why I selected this piece.

For Those Considering Joining the photo poster project

Even for someone like me, who is shy and not great at talking, I was able to have many conversations with people who share a love for photography. It led to various realizations, discoveries, and moments of empathy.

It also gave me the confidence to believe that the photos I’ve taken, trusting my own sensibilities, were indeed the right ones.

I believe those considering participating will have a similar experience. Why not take this opportunity to take a step forward?
