The 'photo poster project' organized by cizucu has been held nationwide since the end of last year. By simply submitting photos to cizucu, you can participate in the photo poster exhibition and meet new photographer friends.
This time, we spoke with -kenchi-, a creator who participated in the photo poster project.
Please Introduce Yourself!
I am -kenchi-, captivated by the world through the viewfinder.
I primarily focus on flower photography and have recently ventured into monochrome photography.
I am fascinated by capturing the moments woven by light and shadow, and I continue to enjoy photography with my camera close at hand every day.
What Prompted You to Participate?
Every time I participate in the poster exhibition, I gain new insights from the stories shared by photographers about their photos.
Learning about the thoughts and perspectives embedded in each piece inspires my own photography style and serves as a catalyst for taking the next photo and step.
I also love the beautiful space where works are displayed and the warm atmosphere where people who love photography gather, which is why I decided to participate again this time.
How Was Your Experience Participating?
Standing next to my photo and presenting is always nerve-wracking. However, as I speak while feeling the warm gazes, I strangely feel at ease and once again realize the greatness of this place.
The time spent listening to the behind-the-scenes stories of the participating artists was incredibly stimulating and enjoyable, with many learning moments.
Even for someone like me who tends to get nervous, I am grateful for the support of everyone who warmly welcomed me, making me glad I participated again.
Why Did You Choose This Particular Photo?
The theme this time was 'Warmth'. This photo, with its soft light spread unique to old lenses and gentle, melting bokeh, is a favorite of mine.
The scene of kochia beginning to color in early autumn, receiving the warmth of the sunset on its branches, perfectly matched the theme, which is why I chose it.
I would be delighted if those who have not yet experienced the beauty of old lens depiction and the joy of manipulating light could come to know it.

By enlarging the photos you view on your smartphone or tablet to poster size and displaying them, you can feel the difference in scale and rediscover the charm of photography, which is the essence of this exhibition.
Participation is easy, yet the sense of fulfillment you gain is beyond imagination. The moments of connecting with people you wouldn't normally meet through photography are incredibly stimulating.
I am truly grateful for the wonderful encounters I have been blessed with.
