The reason I started photography was because of mountain climbing.
I wanted to preserve the memories of climbing mountains, and the answer I came up with was a camera.

Of course, in today's world, smartphones can take decent photos. However, I didn't find satisfaction in taking photos with a smartphone.
In the end, I think I just wanted to hold a camera and take photos that felt more authentic.

The camera I've been using since I bought it as a beginner is the Nikon Z6 with a zoom kit. Although buying a camera doesn't necessarily make you a better photographer, compared to when I was taking photos with a smartphone, my satisfaction level was higher.

Thanks to that, my purpose for climbing mountains shifted from peak hunting to taking mountain photography.

Shortly after buying the camera, I happened to meet a lovely couple while climbing Mount Tarumae in the evening.

Excited by the new camera and the breathtaking view of the sea of clouds and sunset, I boldly offered to take their picture. Looking back, it's a funny memory that I dared to say that as a beginner.

However, the truly memorable moment came later. I shared the photos with the couple via social media, and they informed me that they had printed and displayed them at home.

Just knowing that someone cherished a photo I took made me incredibly happy.

This was a joy I couldn't have experienced with just a smartphone.
Through the camera, I met many friends, and ultimately, I even met my current wife.

Meeting Nikon cameras has greatly changed my life.
The reason I use Nikon cameras is because they have brought such wonderful encounters into my life.

It's not about the features or the design; it's simply because of the love intertwined with memories that I continue to use Nikon.

I believe I will continue to capture life's memories with this camera.
