Night Eyes
‘Night Eyes’ is a global online photo contest curated by cizucu, open to all creators registered on cizucu. Outstanding works will be curated from the submissions, with the aim of discovering new talent on the platform and supporting the community.
This edition’s theme is “Unforgettable Nightscapes”.
Nightscapes, with their enchanting interplay of light and shadow, beautifully capture the brilliance of the city and the mysteries of nature, inviting viewers into a world of profound emotion.
Through your night photography, express the tranquility of nature, the vibrancy of the city, or the stories of people’s lives. We encourage you to incorporate unique perspectives, techniques, and creative approaches that are possible only at night. We look forward to experiencing the depth of nightscapes captured through each of your “Night Eyes.”
The selected works will be exhibited in Kyoto Prefecture around May (6 works). Please refer to the notes at the end of this magazine for details regarding the exhibition.

This photograph features a traditional thatched-roof house in Nara Prefecture beneath the Milky Way. The quietly shimmering Milky Way harmonizes with the old Japanese architecture, fusing the timeless beauty of the landscape with the grandeur of the cosmos. The image eloquently expresses the beauty shaped over centuries.
How did you find these works? Whether a scene is man-made or natural, the night reveals expressions unseen by day. We look forward to seeing evocative photographs that capture that beauty and transience. We welcome your submissions!
