The contest is held annually, marking its 16th edition this year. It is one of the longest-running and highly reputed digital photo contests globally. Each year, one grand prize winner and three overall winners are selected, along with three winners in each of the 19 categories.
The entry fees range from $5.50 (1 photo), $12.50 (3 photos), $18.50 (5 photos) to $75.50 (25 photos). There is no limit on the number of submissions.
