Exceptional Rendering and Expressive Bokeh for Creative Photography
The “NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8” achieves captivating portraiture through its bright f/2.8 maximum aperture, the compression effect unique to telephoto lenses, and pronounced bokeh. It captures ample light even in low-light environments, enabling sharp, low-noise images of moving subjects in settings such as indoor sports. The lens offers a wide range of imaging possibilities, from soft rendering at maximum aperture to fine detail when stopped down.
Additionally, the adoption of an STM (stepping motor) enables fast and precise autofocus. The lens supports close-up shooting with AF, featuring a minimum focusing distance of 0.27m at the wide end and a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.48x, allowing for dramatic close-ups of subtle expressions. This single lens enables a diverse range of photographic expression.
