Mission

"Mujo" is a Buddhist concept that expresses the idea that all things are in constant flux, and that no moment is ever repeated. The theme for this open call is "Ephemeral Beauty." One of the roles of photography is to capture fleeting moments of beauty and drama that can never be seen again. By confronting the reality that all things eventually come to an end, we aim to discover new value in photographic expression. This is a somewhat challenging theme, but we encourage you to draw inspiration from the reference works.
