Leica 1 Model A

Film Camera / Leica I

The Leica I (Model A) is a representative 35mm film camera from Leica’s early history. Rather than having a fixed lens, it uses a screw-in lens system that led to the later Leica screw mount. With its compact body and simple controls, it is an important model for understanding Leica’s history.
