RXII

Film Camera / cy-mount / RX

The CONTAX RX II is a 35mm manual-focus SLR for the Yashica/Contax C/Y mount. With electronic control and a built-in motor drive, it is a practical choice for those who want to use MF lenses at a relaxed pace or are looking for a later CONTAX film SLR.

How to use · Paired with C/Y-mount primes such as the Planar 50mm F1.4 and Distagon 35mm F2.8, it is easy to use in a nimble way that suits the character of the body.

Watchouts · This is not an autofocus camera, so focusing is manual. The digital focus indicator function has been omitted compared with the RX, and at approximately 810 g, it is also somewhat substantial in weight.
