The Bronica ETR is a modular medium-format single-lens reflex film camera released in 1976. It produces 6x4.5cm negatives, larger than 35mm film, and is known for high image quality and smooth tonal gradation. Designed for professional uses such as portrait, product, and commercial photography, it is appealing to photographers who value precise composition and medium-format quality.

How to use · The lens, film back, and finder are interchangeable, supporting a variety of shooting styles. A 6V battery is required for electronic shutter control, and a waist-level finder is included as standard. Film advance is manual.

Watchouts · A 6V battery is required to use the camera’s full shutter functionality. Without a battery, the shutter operates only at 1/500 sec. Since the maximum shutter speed is 1/500 sec, this can be limiting when shooting wide open in bright conditions. Although it has a robust metal body, it is heavier than a 35mm SLR.
