The west coast used to be always overcast— a dull grey sky, rusted warehouses, and faint memories cast in shadow. Back in high school, I never really liked this place. Now it’s been redeveloped—cleaner, brighter. And even though none of the old signs remain, I find myself lifting my camera every time I return. The breeze feels softer now. Calmer, somehow more forgiving. Shot with the Nikon Zf. It wasn’t just the landscape that changed. I think that contrast says a lot about where my mind was back then. I miss that version of me, the one who kept trying, who wasn’t afraid to explore, even if the outcome was uncertain. A gesture of professional pride performed with total indifference to the public eye. While one half of the street is conscious of how they are seen, the other is simply existing in the thick of a long workday.
Title: HI One morning, light slipped through a gap in my curtains and left a mark on my front door. I wasn't looking for it — I just happened to see it. I'm drawn to ordinary moments when light transforms a space. This one felt different. The light had arranged itself into something legible — a quiet greeting written in warmth and shadow, offered before I had even opened my eyes to the day. The first thing you see is the "I" — a clean column of light, standing on its own. But look at the darkness surrounding it, the shadow that cuts through, the negative space between. Let your eyes rest there. It takes a second look. The "H" quietly appears. Together, they form something simple: hi. The texture and marks already on the door became part of the letters, as if the surface had always been waiting to hold them. It wasn't planned. The light held its shape for a while — long enough to notice, long enough to photograph, long enough to feel like it meant something. This photo is about paying attention — to light, to darkness, and to the thin line between the two. Every element had to align: the curtain gap, the angle of the morning sun, the moment I chose to stop and look. Change any one of them, and the greeting vanishes. Some things only reveal themselves when you look at what surrounds them. This was one of those mornings. | Koh Min Xiang

I’ve always been interested in pushing the vertical format on social media — seeing how much story I could fit into a small rectangle. Around 2019, I started blending different images together, mostly out of instinct. I wasn’t trying to say anything specific. I was just experimenting, chasing energy, and making work that felt exciting. When I looked at this image, it made me remember a version of myself I hadn’t thought about in a while. Someone younger, reckless with energy, shooting almost every other weekend, posting constantly, chasing progress and social credit without questioning it. This image feels like those two versions existing at the same time. Not a before and after, but an overlap. It made me wonder if we forget how foolishly passionate we once were about the things we’re still doing every day. | Don Lim

A small silhouette against the vast ocean, completely absorbed in the ebb and flow of the tide. It was a sight so pure it felt like a memory. It took me back to my own childhood, when the world wasn’t a sum of numbers and rules, but a place of pure, unspoiled wonder waiting to be discovered. In that moment, the girl, the sea, and I were all connected.
Today I want to share this portrait I made at Singapore Japanese Cemetery Park, a place most people associate with quietness and memory. It’s not where you’d normally go looking for “pretty”, and yet that’s exactly the point: beauty often hides in the least expected places, waiting for us to slow down enough to notice it. The afternoon light was gentle, the bougainvillea was in bloom, and in that stillness, her expression felt even more tender, like a small moment of life whispering back into a space meant for remembrance. I love how photography can do that: it doesn’t erase the weight of a place, but it lets grace exist alongside it. | Keith Wee

To me, love is a feeling. When I visited Seoul for the first time, I saw an elderly couple walking slowly, side by side, holding hands as they walked past me. In that moment, everything felt gentle and warm, the autumn leaves, the glow of the setting sun, and the quiet moment they share between them. It was such a simple moment, yet I felt so much. I hurried to take my camera out and captured this moment because I want to freeze this moment that I'm feeling. It's been a year since I took this picture, and it's still one of my favourite piece. I love love. & I hope through this picture you would feel the love too. :) | Miki

“The Wait for the Perfect Sunset” 🌇 There’s something magical about watching the sun meet the sea — especially at the Worli Sea Link. That evening, I stood there with my camera ready, but the shot I wanted wasn’t just any sunset. I wanted the sun exactly at the centre of the bridge. It sounds simple, but it took patience — a lot of it. I waited as the light kept changing every minute, as the orange turned to gold, then to a soft pink that kissed the horizon. Cars kept rushing by, waves kept breaking below, but I stayed still, focused, watching through my lens. There were moments when I thought I’d missed it… but then, right when the world seemed to slow down, the sun aligned perfectly between the arches. That single frame — calm sea, glowing sky, and the silhouette of the bridge — made all the waiting worth it. Sometimes photography isn’t about clicking fast — it’s about slowing down, breathing in the moment, and letting nature show you when it’s ready. | Brandon Pinto

This is probably the autumn scenery we’ll soon encounter. I didn’t particularly like autumn, but as I’ve accumulated memories of enjoying the scenery and spending time with people I cherish, I’ve grown to love it. I took this photo when I traveled alone to Hokkaido, and I felt a sense of "An Enchanted Realm," which inspired me to name it "Holgyeong (惚境)." I had quite a hard time dealing with a pesky insect called "Yukimushi," and since the scene wasn’t perfectly set up for the shoot, it might seem a bit chaotic. However, I believe it captures the stirring emotions I felt at the time, which is why I like this photo. | JIYEJI
