Title: HI One morning, light slipped through a gap in my curtains and left a mark on my front door. I wasn't looking for it — I just happened to see it. I'm drawn to ordinary moments when light transforms a space. This one felt different. The light had arranged itself into something legible — a quiet greeting written in warmth and shadow, offered before I had even opened my eyes to the day. The first thing you see is the "I" — a clean column of light, standing on its own. But look at the darkness surrounding it, the shadow that cuts through, the negative space between. Let your eyes rest there. It takes a second look. The "H" quietly appears. Together, they form something simple: hi. The texture and marks already on the door became part of the letters, as if the surface had always been waiting to hold them. It wasn't planned. The light held its shape for a while — long enough to notice, long enough to photograph, long enough to feel like it meant something. This photo is about paying attention — to light, to darkness, and to the thin line between the two. Every element had to align: the curtain gap, the angle of the morning sun, the moment I chose to stop and look. Change any one of them, and the greeting vanishes. Some things only reveal themselves when you look at what surrounds them. This was one of those mornings. | Koh Min Xiang
