(Make It Through the Night)

This photo is entitled “Make It Through the Night.” For me, this image holds many meanings, but one way to view it is from a third-person perspective. The city at night in the background symbolizes the burdens someone is trying to carry, while the blurred subject — almost muted in color — represents the person silently bearing it all. The third-person perspective emphasizes how someone can see right through you, which is why the focus is on the background.
