After the main celebration at Shri Dwarkadhish Temple, where devotees threw coloured powder at one another, I took to the streets just outside the temple, where the party continued, with people dancing and singing. REM dreams are often characterized as intense, emotional, and story-like, compared to non-REM dreams, which are often more thought-like or brief. This stage is said to be characterized by high brain activity, rapid eye movement, and temporary muscle paralysis.
