A charming flower garland stall owner in Little India, Singapore. For this exhibition, I wanted to mix things up and challenge myself by stepping outside my comfort zone and photographing some of the faces that make up Singapore’s heterogeneous identity. To me, Little India goes against the grain of Singapore’s manicured chaos, offering a unique perspective on the city’s classic shophouse architecture and vibrant street life. I found this gentleman working hard to fulfil orders at his stall on Buffalo Road. His presence, framed by the bright stall lights and vibrant flowers, immediately caught my attention and made for an interesting subject to photograph.
