ชายถือกล้อง 4x5 บนขาตั้งสามขาในบรรยากาศถนนกลางแจ้ง

Kunal Thakkar

I was outside Soho Square with my 4x5 camera still on its tripod. A group of six young men, Harley among them, approached me and asked what this object was and what I was doing. A group of young men usually frightens me. But it was quickly clear this bunch was different — friendly, jolly, fun, and, most importantly, curious. I offered to photograph them, and they readily agreed. They threw themselves fully into the shoot, and this photograph was the best of the six exposures I took. The 4x5 is, it turns out, an object of curiosity. (On Ilford Delta 100 film, developed on Ilford LC29, scanned using pixl-latr)
