The , organized by cizucu since the end of last year, allows participants to join a photo poster exhibition simply by submitting photos to cizucu. It’s also a great opportunity to meet new photographer friends.

This time, we interviewed Meme Kotohogi, a creator who participated in the .

Please introduce yourself!

I was inspired to start photography after hearing a friend talk passionately about their love for SIGMA cameras. Since November 2024, I’ve been carrying a camera every day and capturing whatever catches my eye. Recently, I’ve realized I enjoy photographing cupcakes, withered flowers, carbonated drinks, and water.

What motivated you to participate?

The was my first experience participating in a photo exhibition. I had always wanted to be able to say, 'I’ve held a solo exhibition,' and when I came across cizucu, it felt like a casual and approachable first step, so I decided to join.

Have you noticed any changes in yourself after participating multiple times?

I haven’t felt any major changes.

Talking and listening to people at the venue has made me realize how diverse everyone is. I don’t take photos to compare myself to others or to be evaluated, so I’ll continue to focus on capturing what I personally find 'cute.'

What do you find appealing about the photo poster project?

One of the biggest takeaways was the experience of having my photos printed in large sizes.

While they already look cute on a screen, printing them enhances their charm even more. It has also increased my desire to create my own photo book.

Exhibited Work

A message for those considering participating in the photo poster project

Seeing your own photos printed in large sizes is a wonderful experience.

It truly feels like your work becomes an 'art piece,' and it’s a fantastic feeling. Considering the costs of finding a printing company, printing fees, venue search, venue fees, and setup, the exhibition fee is very reasonable. I highly recommend experiencing the joy of having your work printed.
