This picture was taken using Kodak Aerofilm on Yashika Electro 35. Aerofilm is a medium- and high-altitude aviation reconnaissance film with a film with a lot of red sticking out. Therefore, I tried to maximize the red color by taking a red apricot with this film. The apricot flower is said to be the first flower to bloom in spring through winter. Therefore, the apricot flower symbolizes incision and noble mind. I thought that the red apricot flower turns red in winter by bleeding from the bitter wind as the white petals of the existing apricot flower bloom. I thought that the red apricot flower was a difficult blooming and extracting red beauty. I was in the middle of photographing a model for a fashion shoot when I noticed a man standing nearby, looking back for just a brief moment. Instinctively, I captured the frame and immediately returned to the shoot. That is what I love most about photography — sometimes you simply find yourself in the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment, and a fleeting moment turns into an image that stays. What makes this photograph special to me is its universality. Although it was taken in the port area of Abu Dhabi, the scene feels unbound by geography.
