Shot in the midst of flying sparks and flames, the image reflects the raw energy and trance like state of the performer. In this work, the body floats in suspension, poised between endurance and release. Water serves as both cradle and weight, holding the figure while evoking emotional depth and psychological gravity. The surrounding landscape remains serene, almost indifferent, intensifying the contrast between inner turbulence and outward calm.
Present Absence This image was shot during winter at Versova beach at sunset. This frame freezes a fleeting paradox: a solitary silhouette, bathed in the sunset's crimson embrace, stands ankle-deep in the reflecting waves, phone aglow in hand, lost in digital reverie. What grips me is the exquisite irony, a man oblivious to such nature's symphony unfolding around him. Mumbai's beach sunsets are more than a beautiful spectacle; they are the city's soul laid bare, where one can experience profound serenity amid the chaos of skyscrapers and streetlife. This photograph isn't just a landscape; it serves a narrative about connection and disconnect. I keep returning to this image because it serves as a gentle, haunting reminder. It asks us to look up, to put down the phone, and to let ourselves be fully engulfed by the "magical beauty" that is often standing right in front of us. | Souvik Roy

The Lion’s Awakening: A Legacy in Motion Once a vibrant thread woven into the fabric of daily life, the Lion Dance is becoming a fading echo of the past. The thunder of the drums has grown distant, and the kaleidoscopic flicker of the lion is a rarer sight on our modern streets. Yet, beneath the silk and fur lies a timeless narrative. The performance is more than a spectacle; it is a story of resilience. It follows the lion as it awakens, navigates treacherous terrain, and crosses mountains and rivers in a symbolic quest for meaning and purpose. Documenting this art is a form of preservation. By capturing the spirit of the dance, we ensure that its identity isn't lost to time. It is a quiet and hopeful bridge that carries the stories of our ancestors into the light of the future, ensuring the lion continues to roar for generations to come. | snapsbyxavier

Situated on the mountainside, it offers stunning scenery, and the sea is also visible from behind the temple grounds. In particular, during autumn, the vibrant foliage painting the mountain in brilliant colors creates a breathtaking spectacle when set against the towering Buddha statue. When I came face to face with the colossal Buddha, I was completely overwhelmed by its sheer size and felt a profound sense of wonder. | Park Seongjjn
