Beyond the Surface When viewers look at a photograph, they usually touch only what is visible—the lens choice, the moody glow of a quiet neighborhood playground at midnight, or the silhouette of Fami, the Famine Devil. To me, real touch is invisible. Cosplay photography is often expected to be bright, crisp, and sterile. I break that mold, using atmosphere to ground fantastical characters in a deeply human reality. In this frame, feeding cake is a tangible gesture, but the true contact happens long before the shutter clicks. It lives in the unseen dedication: the hours spent perfecting makeup, the hunt for the right outfit, and the personal reason for bringing this character to life under the cover of night. "Touch" isn’t just what brushes your fingertips—it is the invisible creative bond, trust, and shared passion that elevate cosplay into a living, resonant art form.
