through out my transition ive had to learn how to like myself, i have photographed myself through the 14 years of this journey, constantly seeking to make myself look beautiful. feminine, soft,,, in this series, i finally found acceptance in my flaws, instead of hiding my skin texture i embraced them, instead of hiding my nails. i put them on show... my tattoos saying "just jump baby girl" a message to myself, it doesnt matter if you are rough around the edges, your beauty and your femininity are not surface level... the pose is almost me hiding behind my flaws, using them as an excuse to not love myself... no... because i do love myself... but i dont always like myself
