Cancello torii tra gli alberi con piccole fioriture bianche nel recinto

I planned every hour of my first solo trip because I was afraid that if I left any gaps, I'd end up feeling lonely. On the second day, while making my way to another shrine, I passed this gate by accident. Sunlight filtered through the trees, and the ground was dotted with tiny white flowers. I stopped for a minute, took this photo, and carried on because I had somewhere else I was supposed to be. Looking back, it's funny how the places I spent weeks planning aren't the ones that stayed with me. It's this quiet, unplanned moment by a gate that I still remember most.
