Unlike the black and white version, this scene feels warmer to me. The blue hull, the fading evening sky, and the lights reflecting on the water give the harbor a softer atmosphere, as if the long day has finally come to a calm end. That was what stayed with me. The ship is still heavy, worn, and marked by work, but in color it no longer feels only tired. It feels settled. The light from the harbor touches the water and spreads around the vessel, turning an ordinary working boat into something briefly gentle. Perhaps that is what made me photograph it again. After the labor of the day, what remained was not only fatigue, but also a quiet kind of warmth.
