This picture was taken using Kodak Aerofilm on Yashika Electro 35. Aerofilm is a medium- and high-altitude aviation reconnaissance film with a film with a lot of red sticking out. Therefore, I tried to maximize the red color by taking a red apricot with this film. The apricot flower is said to be the first flower to bloom in spring through winter. This image was shot at the newly built Jurong Lake Gardens, on the bridge facing towards Cascade Pavilion. Using a full-spectrum converted NEX-6 with a 16mm F2.8 prime lens and an 850nm filter, the result is a high-contrast sky with glowing foliage while the dark roof of the pavilion grounds the composition. Coincidentally, two ladies in dresses happened to be walking through, appearing bright white in the shot and naturally drawing the eye to the centre. The pavilion opening also frames them from within, almost like a screen inside the image.
