As the sun disappeared behind the city, the buildings slowly lost their details and became little more than silhouettes. What remained was the light. Golden reflections stretched across the water and followed the curve of the shoreline, separating the dark beach from the darkening sea. For a few minutes, the familiar city looked completely different. The buildings, the beach, and even the people along the shore seemed to lose their individual shapes and become part of the same landscape. That was what made me stop. Sunsets happen every day, but the light never seems to leave the same way twice. Soon, the yellow sky would turn blue, the silhouettes would disappear into the night, and Momochi would return to being an ordinary city beach. But for a brief moment, everything was held together by the last light of the day. Surrounded by heavy shadows, the person almost disappears into the darkness, becoming little more than a silhouette. That contrast was what caught my attention. The path ahead is bright, but everything around it feels deep and closed, as if the light exists only for a small part of the way. Because of that, the figure does not seem to be simply walking through a park. For a brief moment, he feels like someone leaving darkness behind and moving toward something brighter, even if only a few steps ahead. I do not know where he came from, or where he is going. But in this frame, what remains is simple — a dark figure, a quiet path, and a small space of light waiting ahead.
