One of my favorite things to do whenever I’m there is to photograph the older side of the city, the one I was born and raised in. When people think of Dubai, they often picture skyscrapers and luxury, but there’s so much more to the city beyond that image. This photo shows an abra which is a small wooden boat used to ferry people across the creek. It’s a simple, everyday mode of transport that many people don’t discover until they experience the city firsthand. When I visited Seoul for the first time, I saw an elderly couple walking slowly, side by side, holding hands as they walked past me. In that moment, everything felt gentle and warm, the autumn leaves, the glow of the setting sun, and the quiet moment they share between them. It was such a simple moment, yet I felt so much. I hurried to take my camera out and captured this moment because I want to freeze this moment that I'm feeling. It's been a year since I took this picture, and it's still one of my favourite piece. I love love. & I hope through this picture you would feel the love too. :) After taking this picture I realised, love is not just a feeling but it’s a constant choice that you have to make.
