It's home to the Mosuo, an ethnic matriarchal tribe. The subject is a Mosuo boat rower enjoying a smoke while waiting for his next ride. Each boat ride is physically demanding, as the boats are hand-rowed and the total distance spans just over a kilometer. It was early morning when this 6–8-week-old lion cub wanted to leave the bush to play with its sibling. Each time they wandered too far, their mother would lift her head and call them back. Instead of calling again, the mother walked over and lifted her cub, carrying it back to safety. For this trip, I wanted to do film simulations to maximise the European summer sun. Hence, I applied Veres Deni Alex' recipes , but with a few tweaks based on the available features on my cam. An unforgettable place I visited was Alhambra, one of the oldest and best-preserved palaces during the Arab rule in Spain. I was in awe of the architecture -- from its intricate details to the way the sunlight naturally illuminated the spaces. I found myself slowing down, wandering through the grounds, and really taking in both the history and the atmosphere. Therefore, I wanted to showcase the beauty of Taiwan through this photo titled 'Taipei 101 with the Moon.' Above all , I emphasize that none of the elements in this photo have been photoshopped. On the contrary, I specifically researched the position of the moon rising beforehand and visited the location multiple times. I was with my friend walking around the area and I happened to see this lovely couple having their pre-wedding photoshoot right in front of the water fountain at the venue. I realised I had another angle that's a bit closer to the couple than what the photographer intended, and I decided to take my shot! I love seeing wedding photography / videography, as somebody who did wedding videography before. My vision for this photo is, well, I hope everyone in their lives, be it single or attached or married, I hope that you (as the black shirt man) remember to love yourself while loving your inner child / your partner / your spouse (as the woman in the wedding dress). The shadows of the Woman's feet being lifted up by the man represents that, everyone regardless of their marital status, should have love in their life where they can overcome any obstacles together and be happy / contented with oneself (be it alone or as a nucleus). The natural Rainbow formed behind them was such a magnificent feature to be present in their photo. I hope everyone can remember that there are different colours to defining love and our feelings, because love is never a fixed shade or colour.
