Un homme chantant seul au karaoké dans une petite pièce à bord d’un navire

Subject : Stay a While Camera : Kodak S100EF Lens : Kodak 35mm F4.5 Film : Fomapan 200 At sea, time moves a little differently. After a watch or a day's work is over, there are still hours left before the next day begins. Sometimes those hours are spent talking. Sometimes sleeping. And sometimes, singing alone in a small karaoke room somewhere at sea. The chairs are empty, but the song continues. On land, karaoke is usually something shared with friends. On a ship, it can become something else — a way to fill the silence, to make an ordinary evening pass a little faster, or simply to hear something other than the constant sounds of the vessel. Nothing special happened that night. A man chose a song, picked up the microphone, and stayed for a while. Perhaps that is what life at sea is often made of. Not only voyages, ports, engines, and machinery, but small ways of passing the time between one day and the next. Stay a while. #lifeatsea #seafarer #shipboardlife #maritime #lifeonboard #filmphotography #fomapan200 #kodaks100ef #blackandwhitephotography #documentaryphotography #everydaylife #quietmoments #betweenwatches #shipphotography #atsea
