This was taken during my most recent trip to my home country, Cyprus. I was invited to a private dervish show for the French consulate and I remember it vividly, the summer heat taking hold of the night, fans buzzing, and then a power outage which did not faze the dervish, he continued the performance as if nothing has happened, and that's when i captured this photo, completely in awe at his discipline and dedication.
