Its surface changes from one moment to the next, shaped by wind, current, and waves without any need for symmetry. Beside it, everything built by people seems to follow a different rule. Tetrapods repeat along the shore. Bridge columns stand at measured intervals. Lines continue across the water with almost mechanical precision. That contrast was what made me stop. Nature moves without asking to be organized, while we continue building structures meant to resist, contain, and cross it. In black and white, the difference felt even clearer. The sea becomes texture and movement. The structures become lines, repetition, and order. Neither one truly defeats the other. They simply remain beside each other — one constantly changing, the other trying not to. Surrounded by heavy shadows, the person almost disappears into the darkness, becoming little more than a silhouette. That contrast was what caught my attention. The path ahead is bright, but everything around it feels deep and closed, as if the light exists only for a small part of the way. Because of that, the figure does not seem to be simply walking through a park. For a brief moment, he feels like someone leaving darkness behind and moving toward something brighter, even if only a few steps ahead. I do not know where he came from, or where he is going. But in this frame, what remains is simple — a dark figure, a quiet path, and a small space of light waiting ahead.
