My friend, who is living with cancer, became a quiet presence through which these feelings surfaced. The beggar relies on other people's generosity. The rider chases progress. The buyer present who can afford the luxuries in life. All of them share the same narrow passage, brushing past one another, connected by space but separated by circumstance. I was with my friend walking around the area and I happened to see this lovely couple having their pre-wedding photoshoot right in front of the water fountain at the venue. I realised I had another angle that's a bit closer to the couple than what the photographer intended, and I decided to take my shot! I love seeing wedding photography / videography, as somebody who did wedding videography before. My vision for this photo is, well, I hope everyone in their lives, be it single or attached or married, I hope that you (as the black shirt man) remember to love yourself while loving your inner child / your partner / your spouse (as the woman in the wedding dress). The shadows of the Woman's feet being lifted up by the man represents that, everyone regardless of their marital status, should have love in their life where they can overcome any obstacles together and be happy / contented with oneself (be it alone or as a nucleus). The natural Rainbow formed behind them was such a magnificent feature to be present in their photo. I hope everyone can remember that there are different colours to defining love and our feelings, because love is never a fixed shade or colour.
