          <title><![CDATA[When the golden light shines out, Bangkok feels timeless.  วัดอรุณฯ หนึ่งในแลนด์มาร์คของเมืองกรุงเทพฯ ที่ไม่ว่าใครได้มาเห็นกับตา ก็จะรู้สึกทึ่งในความสวยงามของสถาปัตยกรรม ผมได้บันทึกภาพนี้จาก rooftop บาร์แห่งหนึ่ง และทันทีที่เห็นมุมนี้ ก็ต้องยกกล้องขึ้นมาถ่าย เพราะแนวตึกสูงด้านหลัง ที่ดูทันสมัยและแข็งแรง กลับกลายเป็นฉากหลังที่ขับให้ความงดงามของวัดอรุณฯ ยิ่งโดดเด่นขึ้นไปอีก เหมือนอดีตและปัจจุบัน กำลังยืนอยู่ในเฟรมเดียวกัน และในช่วงเวลานั้น แสงสีทองที่ค่อย ๆ ส่องสว่างออกมาจากองค์พระปรางค์ ทำให้ทั้งเมืองดูนิ่งลงเล็กน้อย บางทีเสน่ห์ของกรุงเทพฯ อาจอยู่ตรงความแตกต่างที่อยู่ร่วมกันได้อย่างลงตัว รวมถึงการรอจังหวะเรือแล่นมาพอดีกับวัดอรุณฯ ทำให้ได้มีการเทียบสเกลเพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงความยิ่งใหญ่ยิ่งขึ้นไปอีก | Don Amatayakul]]></title>

Amidst a crowded morning of ritual bathing, I focused on a woman from the Mer (Maher) community, whose traditional tattoos function as permanent jewellery, a cultural identity inscribed onto skin.
