I was also welcomed to watch them prepare themselves for the performance. Right from the base makeup, to the quills added to make the broad jaw, the frills added to make the flawless outfit and then the stunning jewellery.It was so thrilling to see it all come together in a span of 3 hours which were dedicatedly spent in donning a persona that felt so real. After the main celebration at Shri Dwarkadhish Temple, where devotees threw coloured powder at one another, I took to the streets just outside the temple, where the party continued, with people dancing and singing. I didn’t particularly like autumn, but as I’ve accumulated memories of enjoying the scenery and spending time with people I cherish, I’ve grown to love it. I took this photo when I traveled alone to Hokkaido, and I felt a sense of "An Enchanted Realm," which inspired me to name it "Holgyeong (惚境)." I had quite a hard time dealing with a pesky insect called "Yukimushi," and since the scene wasn’t perfectly set up for the shoot, it might seem a bit chaotic. I was with my friend walking around the area and I happened to see this lovely couple having their pre-wedding photoshoot right in front of the water fountain at the venue. I realised I had another angle that's a bit closer to the couple than what the photographer intended, and I decided to take my shot! I love seeing wedding photography / videography, as somebody who did wedding videography before. My vision for this photo is, well, I hope everyone in their lives, be it single or attached or married, I hope that you (as the black shirt man) remember to love yourself while loving your inner child / your partner / your spouse (as the woman in the wedding dress). The shadows of the Woman's feet being lifted up by the man represents that, everyone regardless of their marital status, should have love in their life where they can overcome any obstacles together and be happy / contented with oneself (be it alone or as a nucleus). The natural Rainbow formed behind them was such a magnificent feature to be present in their photo. I hope everyone can remember that there are different colours to defining love and our feelings, because love is never a fixed shade or colour.
