New Wide-Angle Zoom Lens Achieving High Performance with Lightweight Design
A large-aperture wide-angle zoom lens compatible with 35mm full-frame sensors. Despite being lightweight, it maintains an aperture of F2.8, making it easy to carry. The lens configuration includes 13 groups and 16 elements, featuring 3 aspherical lenses, 1 ED aspherical lens, and 3 ED glass elements.
It offers image quality equivalent to the 'FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM' released in 2017 and achieves similar size and operability to the 'FE 24-50mm F2.8 G'.

Design Combining Advanced Video Shooting Features and Operability
As a zoom lens, it is optimized for video shooting, equipped with breathing compensation and image stabilization modes 'Active Mode' and 'Dynamic Active Mode'. The AF drive using two linear motors enhances the camera body's high-speed performance for both still and video shooting.
Compatible with high-speed continuous shooting (up to approximately 120 fps) with Sony's 'α9 III'. Features include a focus ring, aperture ring (click ON/OFF switch), focus mode switch, zoom ring, and focus hold button, along with a dust and moisture-resistant design and fluorine-coated front lens element.
