Announcing the Highly Anticipated 'X Summit'!
Fujifilm has announced that it will hold its new product launch event, 'X Summit TOKYO 2024', in Tokyo on February 20 at 2:30 PM. This year’s 'X Summit' is scheduled just before 'CP+', Japan’s largest photography trade fair, drawing considerable attention.
Fujifilm typically hosts the 'X Summit' twice a year to unveil new products and technological advancements. The company states, “We showcase new products, services, and ideas in an outstanding show, sharing cutting-edge practices and technologies with our partners.” Fujifilm regularly holds the 'X Summit' in different cities around the world; the previous edition took place in Stockholm on September 12, where the GFX 100 II was announced.
Fujifilm's X Summit to Take Place Just Before CP+
This year’s event will be held earlier than last May’s edition, garnering attention as it takes place just days before 'CP+' begins. Since the conclusion of Photokina, 'CP+' has become one of the most important events for Japanese camera manufacturers. 'CP+' is scheduled to run from February 22 to 25.
Having overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, last year saw the event return from an online to an in-person format. Furthermore, with the Paris Summer Olympics approaching, this year’s event is especially significant. Some manufacturers have already announced flagship products for global sporting events, and it is rumored that many other camera makers will showcase products with performance well-suited for everyday use.

Fujifilm has announced the upcoming 'X Summit', which typically features new cameras and lenses, though there was no official announcement in the video this time. However, the new products expected to be unveiled at the 'X Summit' are highly likely to play a central role at 'CP+'. Fujifilm is scheduled to exhibit at 'CP+', and it is anticipated that the products revealed on February 20 will be available for hands-on experience at their booth.
