As you open this magazine, what sounds are reaching your ears right now? Perhaps it’s the television your family is watching, a favorite artist’s song or radio playing as background music, or maybe the bustling sounds of the city outside. Our lives are constantly surrounded by a symphony of sounds.
Among the five senses, photography is a medium that captures and communicates moments through sight. In contrast, music exists solely through hearing, constructing entire worlds from the interplay of sounds. While these two art forms may seem to stand in opposition, they share a profound affinity.
Can you hear something emerging from each photograph in your folder? In photography, which frames the real world, every image seems to echo the sounds that once filled that scene. This time, we are launching a hashtag campaign focusing on the sounds that emanate from photographs.
Why not share photographs from your collection that seem to evoke rich sounds, tagging them with #music? During the hashtag feature period from Thursday, January 11, 2024 to Wednesday, January 24, 2024, several works will be selected from submissions and will receive a special gift from cizucu.
