The EOS R6 Mark II is Canon’s full-frame mirrorless camera, equipped with an approximately 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor and the latest DIGIC X image processor. With advanced subject detection AF for tracking moving subjects, high-speed continuous shooting up to 40 frames per second, and ultra-high-definition 4K video recording with 6K oversampling, this all-round model adapts to a wide range of photographic scenarios.

A Camera That Excels in Every Situation
I always bring the EOS R6 Mark II with me when traveling to capture memories. Last year in Malta, I photographed not only birds, but also cityscapes, people relaxing at open-air cafés, natural scenery, nighttime illuminations, and delicious cuisine—subjects quite different from my usual work.
What surprised me was how perfectly this camera adapted to such varied situations.
From sunlit street corners to dimly lit restaurants and nighttime illuminations, it delivers consistently excellent results. Its performance truly deserves to be called “versatile.”

One of the EOS R6 Mark II’s highlights is its custom settings feature. With a single dial, I can instantly switch to a shooting mode tailored to the scene.
For Custom 1, I’ve registered “Servo AF + Tracking + 1/1250 Shutter Speed + High-Speed Continuous Shooting”—my go-to setup for capturing birds in flight.

For Custom 2, I use “One-Shot AF + 1/400 Shutter Speed” for slowly moving animals. For landscapes and still life, I switch to manual mode, carefully adjusting composition and exposure.
